What we write

Files, not driveway visits

Stage 1–3

Economy, OEM+ and higher stages where the platform and hardware allow it. We refuse emissions-delete work.

Gearbox maps

TCM files to match a raised torque curve — quoted per gearbox family, not bundled blindly.

Add-ons

Pop/crackle, hot-start, swirl/EGR options only when the tool chain and the car make it safe. Asked, not assumed.

Workflow

How the portal works

    Apply as trade

    Business name, tools you use, and how you work. Staff approve before any credits move.

  2. 02

    Buy credits

    Packs show inside the dealer portal after approval. No public list prices, no guest checkout.

  3. 03

    Upload the read

    Original file, vehicle details, and exactly what you want. Slave / bench notes if the first read is not enough.

  4. 04

    Download the write

    When the queue finishes you pull the file from the same order. Keep the original backup.

We will not write every file you ask for.

Apex is based in Eastbourne and Coventry. The file queue is UK-wide for approved trade accounts.

FAQ

Trade file questions

Is this the same as booking a mobile remap?
No. This page is for workshops that already have a read tool. Drivers who want Apex on the driveway should use remapping or the coverage map.
Why is my dealer account still pending?
Staff review every trade application. That stops credit fraud and keeps the queue for real remappers. You will get an email when you are approved.
Do you sell files to the public?
No. If you do not have a tool and a workshop process, book a mobile visit instead.
What if the file does not write?
Open the order, send the tool log and a new read if asked. Do not keep flashing a rejected file.
