- What's the difference between this and the file portal?
- This page is for drivers (and workshops) who want Apex to attend the vehicle and perform a mobile remap. The ECU file services page is for trade partners who already have a read and only need a file processed for credits.
- Will Stage 1 hurt my engine?
- A properly specified Stage 1 on a healthy vehicle stays within sensible mechanical limits. We assess the car first and won't map problems away.
- Do you come to me?
- Yes — home, work or workshop. Priority areas are Eastbourne, Sussex, Coventry and the Midlands. Travel may apply outside the local radius. Check the live coverage map or ask for a quote.
- How long does a visit take?
- Typically 1–2 hours depending on vehicle access, tools and whether gearbox work is included. We'll give a clearer window when we book.
- Can you remap diesels and petrols?
- Many common petrol and diesel platforms are supported. Tell us make, model, year and engine code (if known) and we'll confirm.
